Pro Kitesurfing Clinic Sri Lanka Kalpitiya 22nd June 2019

Kalpitiya has been on our list of spots to add to our program for a while now. A stunning flat water lagoon and wind-proof, comparable to a long season in Brazil. Actually two seasons: from May until October and from December until March.

In the summer season the wind blows from south west with 16-33 knots, sometimes a little gusty and most of the times nonstop. The main spot during summer is situated just a short trip by car at a small headland. Advanced riders can (depending on the wind direction) launch directly in front of your booked accommodation and ride downwind to the KiteWorldWide spot. There we have set a cottage for you to take your lunch and relax between the kite sessions.

Free trip to Vella island which is around 1 hour away by boat north of the lagoon, the island has an amazing flat water kite spot, where we can kite all day before heading back to the lodge. There's always an option we can organise an overnight stay sleeping under the stars in hammocks....yay!!

I had the pleasure of living there for 3 months in 2013. For me the only way I can explain it is its the WIND PARADISE and the place to go with over 300 days of wind per year.

Dakhla Attitude Hotel is the paradise for nautical activities, seafood tasting and desert excursions. The hotel is placed at the "Point of the Dragon", the best spot in Dakhla lagoon. Dakhla Attitude main spot is one of the most beautiful kitesurf and windsurf spots in the world. We will send you the link to the best flight so we all are on the same airplane. Best flights are from Manchester to Casablanca, with about 1 hour wait on the connecting flight. So total journey is 7-8 hours to Dakhla

There is a airport in Dakhla that operates flights to Agadir, Casablanca and the Canary Islands. Royal Air Maroc guarantees ten flights a week from Casablanca to Dakhla. Two way flights every Monday Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
